When are arrival instructions sent? Arrival instructions are sent at 4pm MST, 48 hours (about 2 days) prior to your arrival. Those are sent by email or if you are one of our Airbnb guests through the Air BNB system.  Check-in is contactless and you will go directly to the property that you have rented from us. You are given either a keypad code to enter or a lockbox code for those properties that do not have a keypad.

Early check in and late check out – We try to accommodate our guests as best as we can, and when we can provide an early check–in or late checkout, we do. During peak times or when guests check in and out on the same day, we are generally unable to do this.  Please message our office on the morning of your arrival day or near the end of your stay to find out if this is an option.

What if I’m having an after-hours emergency? – If you are in a life-threatening situation, please call 911. If you are not, please call our office number (970) 349-5303 and you will be given our after-hours phone number. We have staff that is available to you 24/7. Please only call our after-hours number if you are having an emergency at the property, i.e. no heat, no water, locked out, door code doesn’t work, etc.

Non-emergent questions – these can be answered by calling our office (970) 349-5303 or emailing us admin@alpinepropertycrestedbutte.com. We tend to start answering emails early in the morning so often you can get a question answered faster by emailing us.

Office hours – We are open 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday and we check messages in season on Saturday between 10 am and 4 pm and on Sunday between 10 am and 2 pm. In off-season, April – mid-June and October ‘til Thanksgiving we do not check messages on the weekends. Please leave a message if we don’t answer during office hours as we are probably on the other line.

Cancellation policy- You can alter or cancel your reservation up to 30 days prior to arrival and receive a refund for the $100 deposit you paid at the time of booking. Gunnison Supermarkets:

City Market - 880 N. Main St., Gunnison. (970) 641-3816. Pharmacy - (970) 641-6379.
This is the better of the 2 supermarkets in Gunnison and the one we shop at. You can place a pickup order ahead of time on their website: www.citymarket.com. They also have a pharmacy. A small Walmart is next door and has a pharmacy.

Safeway - 112 S. Spruce St., Gunnison. (970) 641-0787. Older supermarket just off HWY 50.

Gunnison Vitamin and Health Food Store -
804 N. Main St., Gunnison - (970) 641-5928. This is in the strip mall just to the right of City Market. No need to even move your car. Lots of vitamins and natural food. Owners are a wealth of information regarding supplements and vitamins. They offer fresh baked goods, an espresso or tea bar, and smoothies.

Natural Grocers-1000 N. Main St., Gunnison-(970) 497-4025. Great selection of natural foods, produce and supplements.

Crested Butte Supermarkets:
Clark's Market - 500 Belleview Ave, Crested Butte-(970) 349-6492 - This is our local market, and it is small, and has just been renovated. They have some prepared foods, a deli, meat counter, and a good selection of gourmet and organic foods. They do their best with stocking but in high times i.e. Xmas/New Years, Spring Break, and the 4th of July week the produce aisle can go bare rather quickly. Check out their website for delivery pickup and drop off options.

Clark’s Pharmacy is open M-F 9-6pm and Saturday 10-6pm.  Off-Season hours may vary.

Mountain Earth 405 4th St., Crested Butte-(970) 349-5132. Great natural food store with a decent supplement section. They offer a few baked items and premade food.

Please note that the town of Crested Butte has a plastic bag ban. There are a few retail establishments that have been allowed to use the plastic bags that they still have, the best option is to take a tote or bag with you to the stores. Clarks and Mountain Earth do have paper bags that you pay for and reuseable ones you can purchase. We are purchasing reusable grocery bags and we'll put a few in each unit, but we do not have them yet! If you have those reusable bags that are convenient to bring, please do bring them.

Parking extra cars- All properties in Mt Crested Butte only have the number of parking spaces as advertised in the property listing. There is no overflow over-night parking in Mt CB. In the town of Crested Butte, you can park an extra car or two on a side street if necessary. You just need to pay attention to winter parking regulations to avoid getting towed. Check the town of Crested Butte’s winter parking regulations and plan to move your car nightly in winter months.
