This is one spectacular home on over 35 acres and is literally steps to the town of Crested Butte! It is located on the Bench just above the town of Crested Butte. You get the amenities of town just steps out the front door with views that are phenomenal. If you are a nordic skier, you can walk out the door and can access one of the best nordic trail systems in the nation, with a trail pass purchased at the Crested Butte Nordic Center. Walk to town for dinner, a cup of coffee or simply to catch the free town shuttle to the mountain. This house has never been on the rental market and has had only 1 owner that has taken loving care of this very special home!
The home is set up with 3 bedrooms in the main house and a bonus bedroom/bunk room that is connected via a covered walk to the main house. As you walk in, you will be in the living/dining/kitchen with decks off of the living room. These decks are north facing and provide magnificent views of Mt. Crested Butte. The kitchen is equipped with anything you might need, also to include most spices and cooking oil. The living room has a stereo, flatscreen tv and a Blueray disc/dvd player. Just down the hall is the powder bath. The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom are on the main level as well. The master has a king sized bed and a north facing deck and yard just out the door.
On the 2nd floor, you have 2 guest rooms both with queen sized beds and their very own ensuite bathrooms. Both are very private and furnished with comfortable linens.
On the basement level you will find a game room with a pool table, a powder bath and the entrance to the garage as well as a mudroom area. We suggest due to ice and snowfall in the winter that the garage be used as a storage area for your gear and not to park a car in.
You can walk directly down the driveway onto a CB Nordic easement (please walk to the side of the ski track, not on top of if you are walking) that takes you directly down to town. There you can access the free shuttle in various spots throughout town, the closest of which would be either Whiterock and 2nd St or Whiterock and 3rd St.
The accessory dwelling that is located just steps away from the kitchen door under a covered walkway has a 2nd floor bunk room with twin over double beds. There will also be a large flatscreen TV and dvd player here. There is a full sized bathroom here as well and a south facing deck with an 8 person hot tub.
This is an incredible property to enjoy all that Crested Butte offers. Steps to town, phenomenal views and utmost privacy. You really can’t get better than this!
Please note that no outdoor fires including fire pits or fireworks may be burned or set off on this property due to fire danger.
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.
