If our county or the state of Colorado has to shut down again due to Covid we will refund you if you cannot come or refund any unused nights in your reservation.
This is a beautiful 3 bedroom home in the Crested Butte South subdivision. Just a mile from Cement Creek Rd and the trails there, 20 minutes to Almont for world class fishing and 10 minutes to the town of Crested Butte. Many biking, hiking and ATV trails originate from this area.
New high speed internet is going into the house on 2/26/2020.
Set up in a mountain style, you walk in on the 2nd level of the house to a fairly sizable mudroom with entry to the garage. From here you continue to the fully equipped kitchen and then the great room with vaulted ceilings that encompass the living and dining room area. The living area has a gas fireplace to warm up after a long day on the slopes or a cool summer evening and a large flatscreen tv that has Apple TV. Off of the living room is a sizable deck with a patio table that seats 4.
The main floor is set up to entertain with the cook being able to converse with those in the great room. The dining area seats 6 with 4 additional seats at the bar top. Also on this level is a laundry room with full size washer and dryer and a powder bath.
Downstairs, you have 2 bedrooms and a full shared bath with a tub/shower combo. The first guest room has 2 twins and a crib with changing table. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms open up to the back of the house through sliding glass doors. There are not patios on this level and the area is xeroscaped to conserve water.
On the top floor of the house you’ll find the master suite with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The bathroom hosts a large tub/shower combination.
Guests have use of 1 garage space to park a car and to store their gear. 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is recommended in the winter.
The house is equipped with wifi that is typical to our area. Cell phone service can be spotty here. Verizon service does work with a few bars.
As of summer 2019, there is a house that is being built immediately to the right of this house. Most of this homes windows are on the other sides of the house so construction noise seems to be fairly minimal. Our presumption is that the house will be finished in the summer of 2020.
The POA does allow trailers up to 19′ to be parked at the home provided it is parked in the driveway or the garage. No on-street parking or parking off driveway is allowed. RV’s are only allowed for 1 night. If you have questions please visit the POA website link provided below.
The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian. Unfortunately, this property does not allow pets of any kind.
Please note that our company does have a separate rental policy that will be emailed to you immediately after booking and this will need to be signed by you. If you wish to see it prior to booking, just send us an email.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations can be made up to 60 days before the first day of your reservation less a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 60 day’s notice will result in 100% loss of all rental payment. If we can replace your reservation and re-book the dates, we will credit you any monies that we are able to recoup up to your full rental amount over your rental period less a $100 fee. There is no guarantee implied that we will be able to re-rent the property to another guest.
