You are also just 15 minutes away from the legendary slopes of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, as well as world-class golf at the Crested Butte Country Club, as well as white water rafting, fly fishing, horseback riding, and rock climbing in Taylor Canyon.
Upon walking in the front door and walking up one flight of stairs, you’ll find the chef’s kitchen and large island with 5 stools, brand new, highend appliances and a casual table that seats 8. There is also a cozy den adjacent to the kitchen. Walk through the french doors flanking the fireplace to a spacious second story deck with a gas grill and an outside table and chairs. You’ll feel one with the mountain out on this deck! Also on this floor, you’ll find the more formal dining room complete with a table that comfortably seats 10. The living room has large windows creating a feeling of seclusion, a gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and comfortable seating for 10. Going down a stairway off of the main living room brings you down to the rec room, which boasts a plethora of fun! A large smart TV, an electronic dart board, loads of boards games, wet bar, foosball table and pac man arcade game table are all provided. A gas fireplace, walkout patio, inviting couch, recliners, two daybeds with trundle beds underneath and full bathroom are all also located in this downstairs area of the property. On the main floor, opposite from the main living room is the master suite with ensuite bathroom.The master has a king size bed, a desk and expansive walk-in closet and beautifully remodeled bathroom with double vanities, lots of storage, a soaking tub and oversized shower. There is another stairway off of the kitchen/casual dining area that leads to the top floor of the house which is a private walled-in loft space (ie 4th bedroom) and has 3 twin beds and a twin trundle. The half bathroom for this bedroom is on the main floor just off the kitchen.
On the ground floor, off the front and garage entrances are two more guest rooms that share a jack and jill bathroom. One room has a queen bed and the other has a king bed. Beside the main entrance is a climate controlled two-car garage garage has a mud room area, with cubbies for boots and helmets, hooks for outerwear, bins for ski poles, and heated rack for drying clothes and gear and an extra refrigerator.
Please note that a 4WD/AWD vehicle is necessary during the winter months- though our roads and driveway are regularly plowed after snowstorms, “be prepared” is always a good motto to live by at 9000 feet! There is room for 2 vehicles in the heated garage, and more outdoor parking in the driveway and in front of the barn. Note:the small barn is locked and not accessible by guests.
NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED anywhere on the premises. Any evidence of smoke will incur fees. NO trailers.
Renters 30 years and older are welcome. Children of all ages are welcome with their parent or guardian.
