We have altered our cancellation policy and you can cancel, for any reason, with a $100 cancellation fee up to 14 days prior to arrival.  This applicable for any reservations that end by 4/4/2021.  If Gunnison County, the State of Colorado, or Crested Butte Mountain Resort has to shut down due to Covid-19 within the 14 day window, we will refund you if you cannot come, or will refund any unused nights in your reservation if you are already here and have to leave early.

The hot tub facilities may be closed during your stay based on current state or county restrictions due to Covid-19. 

This ‘Platinum-Rated’ two-story, three bedroom, three bath corner unit sleeps 8-9 guests and feels more like a home than a condo. The secluded, upstairs master bedroom has a beautiful king size bed with luxury 400 thread count sheets and a balcony with an amazing view.

The master bathroom has double sinks, a Jacuzzi tub and glass enclosed shower. There is a wall mounted flat screen and plenty of room for your things in the huge master closet (which you can put the portable crib in there).  One downstairs guest room has a beautiful queen size bed with luxury linens and an ensuite bathroom with shower. There is a flat screen TV with a DVD player and plenty of storage. The kids’ bunk room has one set of twin size bunk beds and a trundle. This room sleeps three comfortably and has its own flat screen and DVD player. The kids’ bunk room has an adjacent bathroom with a full size shower.

The main living room features vaulted ceilings and amazing views of the mountain. Natural light surrounds you as there are two story windows throughout the space. There is a warm leather sofa that converts to a queen size bed and two recliners for TV watching and afternoon napping. The living room features a flat screen TV with a DVD player and a fireplace that warms the room.

The dining room features a custom dining room table made of reclaimed wood and stunning antler chandelier. The dining room table will seat 7-8 comfortably with additional seating at the granite bar.The kitchen has knotty alder cabinets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Just off of the bar area and perfect for outdoor entertaining, is a second balcony with additional seating.

The unit also has a washer and dryer (a must have for families). There are very few properties on the mountain with heated, underground parking and Black Bear Lodge is one of them! No more scraping your windshield or having to warm up your car. An elevator takes you and your luggage from the garage directly to the second floor. If you don’t feel like driving your car, the shuttle bus stop is right on the corner of the street (about 25 yards). This makes traveling to and from town or the base area super easy.

Additional features of the lodge: hot tub, large lodge room with TV for gatherings, ski locker storage and an outdoor gas grill. Guests also have access to our DVD collection, portable crib. The kitchen is stocked with quality pots and pans, utensils.

No trailers or RV’s are allowed at this property due to town regulations and/or HOA covenants.

The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian. Unfortunately, this property does not allow pets of any kind.

Cancellation Policy: 

We have altered our cancellation policy and you can cancel, for any reason, with a $100 cancellation fee up to 14 days prior to arrival.  This is applicable to any reservations that end by 4/4/2021.  Reservations with departure dates after 4/4/2021 can be cancelled, for any reason, 30 days or more from the arrival date with a $100 cancellation fee.  If you have to cancel your reservation in the non-refundable period, we will try to re-rent the property for you, with your written permission.  If successful, we will refund you the amount we were able to generate during the same dates as your reservation, minus the $100 cancellation fee.  There is no guarantee implied that we will be able to re-rent the property to another guest.

Parking:

Parking for sidewalks, valley pan, driveways, and entrances must not be obstructed or encumbered or used any purpose other than ingress and egress to and from the Lodge. Parking on the driveway is expressly prohibited at all times.

Garage passenger Deeded Parking Spaces: Parking within garage deeded parking spaces is limited to vehicles, licensed motorcycles, and street legal motorbikes. No motor vehicle shall remain parked on the property unless it is in good working condition and used for actual transportation. No spaces may be used for personal property storage, vehicle repair, construction or any other purpose. Vehicle repairs, other than emergency repairs to remove a vehicle from the premises, are prohibited.

Garage Guest Parking Spaces: Parking within garage guest parking spaces is limited to passenger vehicles, licensed motorcycles, and street-legal motorbikes. No vehicle may be parked in garage guest parking spaces for more than two weeks continuously without the prior written permission of the Board of Directors. No spaces may be used for personal property, vehicle storage, vehicle repair, construction or any other purpose. Vehicle repairs, other than emergency repairs to remove a vehicle from the premises are prohibited.

Porte-Cochere Parking Spaces and Outdoor Parking Spaces: Parking within porte-cochere parking spaces and outdoor parking spaces is limited to passenger vehicles, licensed motorcycles, and street-legal motorbikes. These guest parking spaces are for temporary-parking only. No continuous parking is permitted at any time.

Snowmass Road Recreational vehicle Parking Lot: The Snowmass Road recreational vehicle parking lot is accessed from Snowmass Road and is reserved for the temporary parking of motor homes and recreational vehicles, including, but not limited to, off-road motorbikes, all-terrain vehicles, trailers, boats, and snowmobiles. No vehicle may be parked in the Snowmass Road RV Lot for more than two weeks continuously without prior written permission of the Board of Directors.

Parking Permits: All vehicles parked within parking spaces on the Black Bear Lodge property must display a valid Black Bear Lodge parking permit. parking permits are supplied by the Managing Agent and are available at the owner’s request.

Illegally parked vehicles, recreational vehicles, trailers, derelict vehicles, or stored personal property in any parking space will be removed or towed at the owner’s expense with or without notice.
