The Crested Butte Nordic Center offers more than 45 kilometers in groomed classic Nordic skiing, skate skiing, and snowshoeing. The center also offers rentals and instruction. The ice rink is part of the Nordic Center and skates can be rented right inside.

The Nordic Center also offers a fantastic sledding hill and an ice rink. Skates and sleds are available for rent and the rink schedule should be online. Most evenings, there are hockey games. Come out and catch a local hockey game!

In addition to offering world class skiing and instruction, CBMR also has a bungee jump, and a climbing wall that operates in the evening hours and runs a daycare right at the base of the mountain during the day. In the summer the resort also offers lift served downhill or cross-country mountain biking.

If you happen to be traveling to Gunnison, check out the Rec center. It has a zero entry pool for little kids, a diving pool, and several huge water slides, all of which are indoors. They also have a climbing wall for ages 5 and up and a recreation room full of gymnastics equipment.
